After our greeting, I proceeded to tell him about what happened on Tuesday. Not to bore him I said “hey buddy, remember what I said about court? Well Team Thomas WON! We gave each other high fives. During our conversation on the way to the bus, he mentioned that he did not want to catch the bus that he wanted to walk. The conversation was about what he did last week. He said that he went to school, and that he did not like school. Whoa Buddy you don’t like school? What is that you don’t like about school? He paused looked up in the sky and said “I don’t like school”. I then began to tell him why school is important. I mentioned that with school daddy is able to fix computers and create web sites, and that mommy can help people who are in trouble. That the person driving the bus and trains that we like to ride on went to school. There are two other people who went to school too! Who? Lighting McQueen and Finn Mc Missile. He pressed the button on the toy I got him “Finn McMissile British Intelligence” How do you think became British Intelligence, he went to school. After walking for a few he piped up and said “daddy I like school.
We arrived at our destination, Chuck E Cheese and the fun began. The first game he saw was a racing game and climbed in the seat. I let him steer, I worked the pedals. We spent about 30 mins at that game. After that we walked around playing various games. There was one that he just loved, Jet Pack. You sit in a chair and view 3 different scenes, flying through the air, the city and a roller coaster. It was like pulling teeth to get him out of the chair. He would let other children sit with him. After a couple of circuits around, it was to eat. He slept on the bus and train ride back. Another fun day in the books.
